THOMAS C. GALLAGHERThomas C. Gallagher is a senior associate with Deasey, Mahoney, Valentini & North, Ltd. As a former prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and elected Commissioner in Nether Providence Township, Delaware County, Tom brings practical as well as legal experience to his representation of public entities in civil rights, zoning/land development use, and employment matters. He has represented many municipalities and public bodies and their officials in a wide variety of matters in Berks, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, and Montgomery counties. Tom’s practice also includes the defense of construction, subrogation, malpractice, employment discrimination matters, and condemnation matters.
Tom has successfully defended such actions in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Tom has also served as a Solicitor for a nonprofit ambulance company, as a Litigation Solicitor for a Delaware County township, and as a Specially Assigned Delaware County Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting violators of state statutes and the BOCA Code.
Tom is co-director of his township’s annual 5K run for First Responders, and he enjoys bicycling in his spare time. Education- LaSalle University (B.A. 1971)
