ATHENA O. PAPPASAthena Pappas is an associate with Deasey, Mahoney, Valentini & North, Ltd. She is originally from Buffalo, New York, and graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Geneseo. She received the John J. LaFalce Merit Scholarship for her education at Villanova University School of Law. She also participated in Villanova’s Civil Justice Clinic, representing low-income clients in various civil matters.
Athena served as a summer law clerk for The Honorable Arnold New of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Civil Division, while in law school. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for an insurance defense firm, defending physicians and health systems in medical malpractice actions. Athena’s practice at Deasey, Mahoney, Valentini & North, Ltd., focuses on products liability, civil rights, general liability, and premises liability.
In her spare time, Athena enjoys reading and running. Athena volunteers for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's Philadelphia affiliate and is the chair of their Silent Auction Committee. Education- State University of New York at Geneseo (B.A. 2002, cum laude)
