SHERYL L. BROWNSheryl “Sherry” Brown is a senior associate with Deasey, Mahoney, Valentini & North, Ltd with extensive trial experience. Sherry has successfully represented various municipalities in civil rights, employment discrimination, and premises liability cases in state courts in Pennsylvania, including Berks, Chester, Delaware, Northampton, Lackawanna, and Luzerne counties, as well as in all federal district courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
As lead counsel, Sherry has successfully defended and tried such actions in both the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Sherry has represented doctors and psychiatrists/psychologists in professional liability claims in Pennsylvania. Her vast experience also includes the defense of construction liability, products liability, premises liability, and motor vehicle actions.
Sherry was recently appointed to the Delaware County Women’s Commission, created by Delaware County Council to study the needs of girls and women and to serve as an advocate, currently serving as chairperson of the commission. She also serves as Vice President of the Guy G. DeFuria Inn of Courts, a local chapter of the American Inns of Court, designed to improve the skills, professionalizm and ethics of the bench and bar.
