Carla Maresca presented a seminar on Constitutional Torts at the Personal Injury Potpourri Hosted by the Dispute Resolution Institute. The session included an overview of Section 1983 claims for Eighth and Fourteenth Amendment violations in the context of medical claims against municipal entities, as well as a discussion on the analysis of joint and several liability between state and non-state actors. The Personal Injury Potpourri conference had over 500 attendees and was recognized for continuing legal education credits in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
