Sherry Brown participated as a panelist in a recent seminar sponsored by the Delaware County Bar Association titled “Verdicts and Settlements”. The seminar featured discussion and analysis of selected cases as analyzed by the panel which featured the Honorable Chad F. Kenney and Court Administrator Gerald C. Montella, Esquire (of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas) and several esteemed trial attorneys. Ms. Brown, in addition to providing commentary regarding evaluation of civil rights and state tort claims cases, provided an analysis of her recent Delaware County defense verdict wherein four plaintiffs asserted claims of false arrest, assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution and failing to train in the use of a taser.
